Weekend with Grandpa and Grandma!
Whew, what a busy weekend! Jackson thoroughly enjoyed it all and took every breath in, starting Saturday morning at 9am! We had his first Soccer game where he scored 3 goals! Our little man is back, which I say b/c we tried indoor this past Winter and well, he wasn't too sure about soccer indoors. He absolutely loves the outdoors much better and I think "gets it" more when playing outdoors.
We also had his FIRST t-ball practice with his new team, the Texas Rangers! He is SO excited, some of the same boys from his soccer team are playing with him on this t-ball team. He did really well at practice and Jeff was able to help out with the kids as well, this is the moment he has been waiting for, SO exciting! I will continue to update as the season progresses, I have a feeling this new sport will definitely be a hit.
Lastly, but DEFINITELY, not least, Grandma and Grandpa showed up to help watch Jackson while Jeff and I attended a wedding shower for a friend that I was co-hosting. Jackson of course LOVED every minute of their company and spoiling and I know they did as well. Jackson's birthday party is next weekend and Grandma and Grandpa were able to (spoil) I mean visit him this weekend for his birthday as well. On Saturday, after soccer and t-ball, Grandma and Grandpa were able to take him shopping for his birthday where he received (another) Darth Maul lego and a watch, his favorite! Then we all woke up Sunday morning and went to church, went to lunch at Pappasito's and then came home and went on a walk while Jeff and Jackson rode their bikes. Since Jackson is really getting into the baseball spirit, Grandpa played catch and a little ball with Jackson and Jeff. Here are some pics I took, what great memories were made this weekend!
