Jackson's 5th birthday!

I'm back! I know it's been a week, but I'm still getting used to blogging again.
In any case, today we celebrated Jackson's 5th birthday! Where did these 5 wonderful, exciting, tiring and learn something new everyday with a little boy go??
He had 13 little friends from soccer, neighborhood, school, and friends we've known since he was 9 mos old! He is on a big kick right now about having only boys at his parties, play dates and whatever else we do these days, must be the age! I have however told him that he has little "girl" friends as well and that it's good to have friends of all backgrounds, ages, etc..we'll see how that goes the rest of this year. I'll remind him of this in about 5 years and see if he is in denial! ;)

We had his birthday party at Jumpstreet in Plano, TX where it is wall to wall trampolines and playground bounce houses. He had a blast of course, but really what's better than cupcakes, food, friends and birthdays?

Overall, it's been a very busy weekend, with pictures for soccer bright and early on Saturday morning and a soccer game right after at 9am. Jackson scored 1 goal and overall the whole team played a GREAT game as usual! He really is enjoying his teammates and coach, this is his second season with the team and is learning more and more each game and practice. He also had his second tball practice and is really starting to get the grasp of the basics. Jeff has been helping out with the team as well as you can only imagine how creative you have to be with 12 boys under the age of 6! Will keep you updated on his sports as it comes along!
